Dart on a Map exists to make learning world geography fun, free, and accessible to everyone. Why We Built This Site
Geography education is often taught through textbooks and static maps. While those have their place, many people learn better through interaction and discovery. We created Dart on a Map to offer a different approach: a free, browser-based world map geography game where users explore the globe by throwing virtual darts and uncovering real locations. Each discovery reveals the country, its flag, and geographical context—helping learners build mental maps of the world.
Our goal is to support students, teachers, parents, and anyone curious about the world. The game works on desktop and mobile, requires no sign-up, and uses real geographical data so that every location you discover is accurate and educational.
